Wanluv Terms of Service
Effective date: 10 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PNG EduTech Limited (IPA 1-131147376, TIN 602608840) trading as Wanluv ("Wanluv", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Papua New Guinea with its principal office in Port Moresby. They govern your access to and use of wanluv.com, app.wanluv.com, our mobile apps and all related services (the "Platform").
By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund & Rebooking Policy, Cancellation Policies and Delivery Policy (together, the "Policies"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What Wanluv is
Wanluv is an online marketplace that lets users ("Hosts" and "Providers") list and offer, and other users ("Guests" and "Customers") search for, book and buy:
- Stays — short-term accommodation, homestays and bed & breakfast;
- Experiences — tours, guides, food and cultural experiences;
- Transport — ride-share, taxi and transfer services;
- Key Drops & Extra Services — key handover and on-request services around a Stay; and
- Shop — physical goods sold by Wanluv or by independent sellers.
Unless a listing states that Wanluv itself is the Host, Provider or seller, Wanluv is not a party to the contract between a Guest/Customer and a Host/Provider/seller. Wanluv is not a real-estate agent, tour operator, transport operator, insurer or employer of Hosts or Providers. Hosts and Providers are independent third parties who decide what they offer and at what price.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into binding contracts.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You may hold one personal account; businesses may hold one business account.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password secure and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
- We may require identity verification (government ID, selfie, business registration) before you can host, drive, sell, or make certain bookings.
- Accounts are non-transferable.
3. Guest and Customer terms
3.1 Booking
When you book a Stay, Experience, Transport or Extra Service, or place a Shop order, you agree to pay all charges shown at checkout: the Host/Provider price, taxes, delivery fees and the Wanluv guest service fee. A booking is a direct contract with the Host/Provider under the listing terms, house rules and the applicable cancellation policy shown at booking.
3.2 Your responsibilities
You must treat property, vehicles and people with respect, follow house rules and safety instructions, and leave a Stay in the condition you found it (reasonable wear excepted). You are responsible for anyone you invite. You must not exceed the maximum number of guests, bring undisclosed pets, or use a Stay or vehicle for any unlawful purpose.
3.3 Cancellations, refunds and disputes
Your cancellation rights are set out in the Cancellation Policies and Refund & Rebooking Policy. Disputes between users are handled first through the Resolution Centre; Wanluv may make a final decision on the Platform where users cannot agree.
3.4 Damage
If you damage a Host's property or a Provider's vehicle or equipment, you are responsible for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement. The Host/Provider may request payment through the Resolution Centre within 14 days of check-out or the end of the service, with evidence. If you do not respond or pay within 72 hours, Wanluv may decide the claim and charge the payment method on file.
4. Host and Provider terms
4.1 Listing
You may list only property, services or goods that you own or are authorised to offer, and you must comply with all laws that apply to you, including local by-laws, licensing (for example, a valid driver's licence, vehicle registration and PMV/taxi permit for Transport; a food handling permit where required), landlord or strata consent, and tax obligations to the Internal Revenue Commission (including GST registration where your turnover requires it). Listings must be accurate, complete and kept current, with truthful photos and pricing.
4.2 Performance
You must honour confirmed bookings, be on time, provide what was advertised, and maintain your property, vehicle and equipment in a safe, clean condition. Repeated cancellations, no-shows or poor reviews may lead to fees, reduced search ranking, or removal from the Platform.
4.3 Fees and payouts
Wanluv charges Hosts/Providers a host service fee (percentage of the booking subtotal, shown before you publish a listing) and sellers a commission on each Shop sale. Payouts are made in PGK to your nominated PNG bank account or mobile-money account, generally 24 hours after check-in for Stays, after completion for Experiences, Transport and Extra Services, and after delivery is confirmed for Shop orders. Wanluv may withhold, delay, set off or recover amounts for refunds, chargebacks, damage claims, fees or suspected fraud.
4.4 Taxes
You are responsible for determining and paying your own taxes. Wanluv may issue statements of earnings and, where required by PNG law, withhold tax or report to the IRC.
4.5 Insurance
Wanluv does not provide insurance for Hosts, Providers or Guests. We strongly recommend Hosts hold appropriate property and public-liability insurance and that Transport Providers hold third-party and passenger insurance as required by law.
5. Payments
Payments on the Platform are processed by Kina Bank's Internet Payment Gateway and other payment providers we may add. By making a payment you authorise Wanluv, as the Host/Provider's limited payment collection agent, to collect the payment and to release it to the Host/Provider. Payment to Wanluv is treated as payment to the Host/Provider. Wanluv may hold funds until the service is delivered.
Card details are entered on the secure gateway page; Wanluv does not store full card numbers. Chargebacks raised in bad faith are a breach of these Terms.
6. Wanluv Credit, coupons and referrals
Wanluv Credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, expires 12 months after issue unless stated otherwise, and may only be used on the Platform. Coupons are subject to their stated terms and are non-refundable. Referral rewards are paid only after the referred user completes a qualifying booking, and may be withdrawn for abuse.
7. Content and reviews
You keep ownership of content you post (photos, descriptions, reviews, messages) and grant Wanluv a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce and adapt it to operate and promote the Platform. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience; you must not post reviews of yourself, trade reviews, or use reviews to extort. Wanluv may remove content that breaches these Terms.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- circumvent the Platform by arranging or paying for a listed booking outside Wanluv;
- discriminate against any user on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, disability, or region of origin;
- harass, threaten, defraud or deceive anyone;
- use the Platform for money laundering, illegal accommodation or transport, or any unlawful purpose;
- scrape, copy, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform or its security;
- create fake accounts, listings, bookings or reviews;
- list or sell prohibited goods (weapons, illegal drugs, betelnut where restricted by NCD by-law, counterfeit goods, wildlife products protected under PNG law).
9. Safety
Wanluv runs verification and screening but cannot guarantee any user's identity, conduct or the quality or safety of any listing. Use your own judgement, meet in safe places, follow local security advice, and report concerns to Wanluv and, in an emergency, to the RPNGC (dial 000 or 112) or ambulance (111).
10. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, remove listings, or cancel bookings if you breach these Terms or the Policies, provide false information, create risk for other users, or if required by law. Where we do so without cause, we will give you reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (payments owed, licences, liability, disputes) continue after termination.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wanluv disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, and does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees that cannot be excluded under the laws of Papua New Guinea, including under the Goods Act and the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission Act 2002.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wanluv's total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Platform, any booking or these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid to Wanluv in the 12 months before the claim and K500. Wanluv is not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profit, or for the acts or omissions of Hosts, Providers, sellers, Guests or third parties. These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wanluv and its directors, employees and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms or the Policies, your content, your use of the Platform, or your interaction with any other user.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea. Before starting any legal proceedings, you agree to try to resolve the dispute with us in good faith by contacting legal@wanluv.com or +675 70659262; if unresolved after 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation in Port Moresby, and failing that to the courts of Papua New Guinea, which have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from bringing a claim in their local court where the law gives them that right, or from complaining to the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms. We will post the amended Terms with a new Effective Date and give at least 14 days' notice by email or in-app for material changes. Continued use after the Effective Date means you accept the changes; if you do not, you may close your account. Bookings made before a change remain subject to the Terms in force when the booking was made.
16. General
These Terms and the Policies are the entire agreement between you and Wanluv about the Platform. If any part is unenforceable the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of the Wanluv business. Notices to you will be sent to the email address on your account; notices to us go to the address below.
